After recent events, I figured to download some Kletzmer music to cheer me up. The convenience store owner said I needed an iPod to record. Since I don't know an iPod from a tripod, I contacted my ISP that listed one for $30, which struck me as reasonable for a couple hundred of songs. Although my ISP had many colorful pictures, he did not offer a blurb so I still didn't understand what I was buying.
Feeling stupid I consulted the Yahoo search engine running through more MP3's and WMA's than I ever wanted to see. Finally, I came upon a real blog with words and everything. Its headline was 'iPod used in Homicide' and maybe that was why nobody wrote about the deadly instrument.
In Memphis Tennessee Arlene Mathers had called the Police to confess that she had bludgeoned to death her boyfriend Brad Pulaski with her iPod. To crush his skull properly she needed at least forty blows.
It seems that Brad feared she had recorded 2000 songs illegally. To save her from 4,000 years in prison or so he erased all her songs. Since it had taken her 3 months to record them, the only thing left for her to do was to crush his skull with the empty iPod.
Showing good taste, the Apple people advertised their shatterproof iPod beside the article.
Unsure of the word bludgeon, I made the mistake of showing the blog to Ron (bumpedoff3). Klutz that he is, he had inadvertently erased his part 15 of his series Hard Boiled Dick. Mood upraised he asked permission to incorporate 'my' blog into his.
Our senior blogger had tears in his eyes [from laughing or crying I don't know] and I gave in.
So, that left me with the Catholics Hide Croatian War Criminal story, which is not my cup of tea. Pope John Paul, we really appreciated his visit. Sweets [payback911] is mad for war criminals so I allow him to post it.
By the way, Kletzmer is a pulsating combination of Polish and Jewish set to Dixieland music. If your feet don't move to it, call the undertaker for a wooden box.
I pity the late Mr Pulaski. Perhaps, he skipped music appreciation in high school.
Since the iPod has proven a lethal weapon, Apple is selling them faster than they can make them.
Tone deaf cads beware.
