ART GALLERY WRONGLY ACCUSED OF ANIMAL MURDER

Animal Liberation Front Threatens to Burn Down Croatian Art Gallery

In a letter sent to Večernji list, a group calling itself the ‘Animal Liberation Front’ threatened to burn down a prominent Croatian art gallery after setting on fire a van used to transport artwork for the gallery in an apparent revenge attack for the hosting of a play in which animals take part (but not killed as originally thought). This threat has been made while Oskar Herman’s artwork is being displayed at the same location commemorating the 200th anniversary of the founding of Zagreb’s Jewish community (for those interested in seeing Herman’s work, it will be on display until December 3rd).

This Animal Liberation Front has no history of liberating anything much less animals. They couldn't even get their facts straight before they did arson.[GLARE]

Maybe I'm stupid, but I don't get it. Where did animals get their rights? I don't cotton to mistreatment of animals and outhouse walls, but I regard this behavior as a matter of moral choice. Must all behavior be governed by de jure "rights"?
