PROPHET DOGS

The Prophet (prayers and peace be upon him) said: “Whoever has pity even for a little bird, will have mercy upon him by God on the Day of Resurrection”.

The Prophets’ companions and early Muslims always took care of animals as an aspect of Islamic teachings. Islam forbids causing bodily harm to animals.

It was related that Jabir Ibn Abd Allah said that the Messenger of God passed by an ass (donkey) branded in his face, with it’s nostrils fuming, had said: “God’s curse be upon who did that, you mustn’t brand the face, nor strike the face with your hand”.

Also, Islam orders the owner of animals to take care of them and spend money for them and not to hurt them. Besides, Islam puts everyone under obligation not to assume a passive attitude towards an animal which is suffering, or which needs to be defended.

It was related that the Messenger of God said, “There is a reward for helping animals; indeed, there is a reward for helping any living thing”.

Regarding the killing or slaughtering of an animal (even dogs), Islam advises human beings to do it in the least harmful way. The Prophet said: “If you must kill, kill without torture”

The Prophet (peace be upon him) also forbade to castrate male animals in order to improve live stock. “God also prohibited cutting off any part of the animal while it was still alive”

It was stated that Abd Allah Ibn Abbas said that the Messenger of God forbade setting animals against each other6 and to cause dissension among them to fight, injure and kill one another.

Also, the Prophet prohibited the use of animals as a target in games and races by shooting animals until death, which is called ‘Mathola’ or ‘Sabra’.

I am actualy reading the Quran at the moment in the hope to understand what the hell is going on with the world and why so many muslims want to kill westerners and each other, perhaps they are not reading it porperly or maybee it does have words that can lead on to violent acts it would also give me a better ability to debate current world affairs, i just wish people would stop killing each other and treat humans better than animals. interesting blog, [THUMBUP]

In my experience Russians and Muslims treat animals very well, much better than the Israelis do. Allah and God speak in support of animals. God teaches that the animal abuser will go to hell no matter how good he was in other ways. Both the Qumran and the Torah urge the believers to wipe out whole towns and tribes in very cruel ways. Since the Romans were victorious over the Jews [70 AD], we couldn't put a dent into anybody. So, we were non-violent by default.
On a theological plane, we have no interest in Islam. Conversely, the Islamists consider us the Anti-Christ. To conquer the world, they must first eliminate the Jews. In the Muslim world to come, Jesus is a Muslim who helps Christians to revert [convert] to Islam.
If anybody can figure a way to make peace out of this, I am listening.

A love of animals can be a link to many cultures. Muhammad spoke about birds domesticated and wild animals. Most of my friendships with Muslims began with our common interest in cats and dogs.

Let peace begin with me....there is no other way. Anyone who has known
the love of an animal, must see the God in them. I once had a friend say,
if we had to deserve Heaven, there would be only dogs there.[SMILE]

Our Kabbalistic tradition holds that dogs are reincarnations of prison inmates sent to earth to correct their behavior. If they achieve this, they have another chance at being human.
The State of Israel has committed crimes to close my shelter for homeless people and animals. The city mayor prompted two local thugs to break to enter my property to vandalize. After the Police ignored my five complaints, the thugs have asked the judge to close my place and throw the homeless into the street [hearing 9/26].
If the authorities can do this to a respectable Jewish widow, what can they do to the Palestinians? [You can subscribe to PCHRgaza.org to find the answer].

well ill try and figure out a way, but it involves everyone to put down the gun and to start loving each other, and accepting each other.

It is rare for an Israeli to know one Palestinian and vice versa. Travel between the West Bank and Israel is restricted and highly dangerous. Many Palestinians understand enough Hebrew to watch Israel TV.

i was driving down the road one day and i saw a blackbird that had been struck by a car it was lay in the road but still alive as its wings was flapping a little, i drove by but had to return to it to check loats of cars were driving past and no one else stopped accept me and an old lady and gentleman, i said to them its ok i will take care of the bird so i stepped out into the road with cars flying by hundreds passed and not one stopped or slowed down, i collected up the brd which was indeed still alive and took it home, i placed it in a box with some bedding and some food and water to it seemed to be suffering from being struck to the head leaving it concussed, after 30 minutes it was flapping around in the box so i took it into the garden and opened the lid where it flew off into the tree, rested for a while and flew off in the direction that i brought it from, The Prophet (prayers and peace be upon him) said: “Whoever has pity even for a little bird, will have mercy upon him by God on the Day of Resurrection”. does this mean according to islamic teachings that i will be given mercy.

From what I know, a kindness to an animal is a big plus in your favor. If your sins aren't too bad, Allah will give you mercy. Remember to revert to Islam before the interview.[SMILE]
